Nestled inside the Apple Eater is the improved hard-maple wood drum with inset stainless-steel grinder teeth. Having the inset teeth ensure a stiff and long-lasting Apple Eater. Additionally, the drum now has increased mass versus the previous lightweight plastic polymer drum. More mass means more power to chew those apples! The drum is double coated with EZ-DO food-safe coating.

The American Harvester Features a 1 1/2” cast iron threaded acme screw—an industry-leading thickness that can withstand the pressing pressure needed. The screw foot is made of cast iron and distributes pressure evenly. The flywheel is an 18lb cast iron construction and is attached to the grinding shaft for a smooth grinding speed.

Enjoy freshly-made juice, cider or wine with the Homesteader Wine Press . Made in the traditional frame and screw assembly style, this unit is easy-to-use and durable. This single-tub press is the same design as the complete press but without the grinder. The grinder is available for purchase separately if desired at a later date.

Top quality construction

The solid fame is made of rugged laminated hardwood. Each joint is carefully dadoed and cross-bolted for a solid construction.The press screw is Acme-threaded, 1 1/2″ in diameter, 22″ long. It passes through a heavy cast iron cross arm. Press pressure is applied to the reinforced press-disc that is located in the tub. The cast iron foot is attached to the bottom of the screw so that pressure is evenly distributed. The hardwood tub is easy to clean with beveled staves. It measures 12″ high by 13 1/2″ diameter and is banded with heavy steel hoops.

Works great on grapes, soft fruits and vegetables– including apples!

This press is designed as an all-purpose unit, effectively working on grapes, and other soft fruits and vegetables. Crushed apples can also be pressed.

Simple to use!
